While on a trip home to California my brothers girlfriend, Priscella, got baptised. So I was charged with making her a cake for the luncheon after where we were also celebrating 3 birthdays that had various other family members making separate birthday cakes for the birthday boys and girl. Yes a lot of cake. Well I went for a cherry tree blossom cake. Unfortunately time got away from me with all the various activities we had going on so I used premade royal icing flowers. The heat was OUT of CONTROL and my cake wasn't liking it. Poor thing was just collapsing on itself.
Luckily Priscella is very sweet and didn't complain about having a collapsing cake.
