This is a cake I did for my sons 2nd birthday in June. I honestly don't remember what flavor I did for the cake or the filling :(. But it turned out just like I imagined it. He was really into bugs so I thought this would be perfect. The bugs were inspired by some cupcakes I saw on a friends blog. Simply melted chocolate and M&M's.
We had a big family party and them a more intimate party on his actual birthday when I opted for a smaller version of the 2 tier original.
